Αγαπητές φοιτήτριες, αγαπητοί φοιτητές,
σας προσκαλούμε να δηλώσετε συμμετοχή στο «ICAEW Careers Networking And Business Game Event» το οποίο διοργανώνεται από τον οργανισμό ICAEW ((The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). (Λήψη πρόσκλησης σε pdf)

- Στη διοργάνωση αυτή συμμετέχουν φοιτητές από πολλά Πανεπιστήμια της Ελλάδος από αντίστοιχα τμήματα Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων.
- Θα έλθετε σε επαφή με πιθανούς μελλοντικούς εργοδότες και μεγάλες επιχειρήσεις.
- Θα συζητήσετε μαζί τους και θα δώσετε το βιογραφικό σας το οποίο θα το εμπλουτίσετε με τη συγκεκριμένη συμμετοχή σας.
- Εργαζόμενοι σε ομάδες και με τη βοήθεια ενός μέντορα θα κληθείτε να παρουσιάσετε τη στρατηγική σας πρόταση / συμβουλή σε ένα case study που θα σας δοθεί.
- Οι καλύτερες ομάδες θα κερδίσουν αντίστοιχα βραβεία. Οι δύο προηγούμενες ομάδες από το ΠΑΔΑ βραβεύτηκαν για τη συμμετοχή τους στην εκδήλωση.
- Όσοι φοιτητές δηλώσουν συμμετοχή καλό θα είναι να βρίσκονται στο 4ο εξάμηνο σπουδών και άνω και να έχουν καλή συνολική βαθμολογία.
- Οι ομάδες θα αποτελούνται από 6 άτομα από κάθε Πανεπιστήμιο.

INVITATION LETTER
We are delighted to inform you that we are hosting the ICAEW Business Challenge event and career networking which will take place on Monday 30 May from 3.30pm until 7.30pm at NJV Athens Plaza hotel and we would like to invite you to select 6 of your most talented students to participate (with the hope we achieve 1 team from your University). It would be great to give the opportunity to students who haven’t participated in the past.
What is it?:
This event is a unique opportunity for participating students to network with potential employers, demonstrate their employability skills, learn about a career in chartered accountancy, add participation to their CV and compete against other students from prestigious universities locally to win a range of prizes sponsored by the participating firms.
We have invited a small number of employers to attend who are actively looking to recruit new ACA students for 2022. We want to attract your top talent and help connect them with local employers. We therefore ask that all students participating bring a copy of an up to date CV and attend dressed in smart business attire.
How it works:
On the day, in teams of 6, students will compete in one of our successful business challenges where they will take on the role of chartered accountants and develop strategic advice in response to a real life business issue, which is modelled on the final ACA exam, the Case Study.
Each team will be allocated with a recently qualified professional to mentor them through the tasks and the students’ performance will be assessed throughout the business challenge by a panel of 6 judges who will be acting as the company’s Board of Directors. They will be assessed in a range of areas, including teamwork, leadership, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills. The judges attending will be the firms senior Partners and to whom students will present their recommendations to.
After the business challenge we will hold an employer careers fair where students will have the opportunity to meet potential employers, learn about available ACA training opportunities and present their CVs.
Prizes to the winners:
Based on the students’ performance over the day, the judges will award the winning students with a prize that will be sponsored by the firms attending. We hope you agree this is a fantastic opportunity for students that are career driven, ambitious, interested in a career in accountancy, finance and business to look at career opportunities with some of the best employers in Greece.
